This light hearted award was created in honour of Ken Watman, who was a great supporter of the car show from the very beginning.  When others were showing concerns about hosting the show, Ken was at the front saying it was a fantastic idea .

Ken gave us the courage to see it through to making it the great show it is today.
 
Ken, in his own way, helped on the first car show day wandering around holding a large tankard of beer to let the visitors know that the bar was open, wearing a high viz jacket that was two sizes too big for him!

We very sadly lost Ken in November 2015 and as a tribute to him, decided to create this award.  

Each year we will present The Ken Watman Award to one of the
volunteers of the car show.
