A LOOK BACK AT THE
2019 SHOW

Surely it can't get any busier!  2019 was the busiest yet with over 600 pre booked cars and bikes.  As with every year we get classics that just turn up on the day as well, making this year a record breaking year for attendance.

Once again our loyal band of marshals arrived early hoping to get a quick cuppa and a bacon roll before the official start time for the classics to arrive at 8am.  As usual, they arrived to classics lining up the driveway already - some as early as 6.45am trying to sneak in with the trade stalls!  I suppose we should be flattered really!  The clubs were out in force again this year with a special mention to the South London Power Retro Crew, who had almost 100 cars within their club, fantastic club display.

As always, the live entertainment was fantastic.  The Rat Pack, who bring a bit of Rock 'n' Roll as they always do. 

Warlingham Dance Studio, these girls never let us down with their displays, and this year saw the North Downs Drummers join us too.  Not only did they do their performance in the arena but they stayed the whole day and wandered around the site playing just when they felt like it!

The display of cars and bikes really does get better every year and as marshals we don't get to see as many as we would like to, but as long as the public  see them and enjoy the day while raising money for worthy charities, that's enough for us.  This year we raised the most we have ever done, with the bulk of it going to St. Christopher's as well as three local charities.

2019 saw us proudly raise £10,828.30 for St. Christopher's and local charities.

On behalf of everyone from Warlingham Rugby Club Classic Car & Bike Show, we thank you all for your support and can't wait to see you all in 2020 - what could possibly go wrong................... !
